Step by Step Process
10 Step Carpet Cleaning Process
Step 1: Pre-Cleaning Inspection.
A technician will walk with you through your home to visually inspect your carpet. We will listen to any concerns you may have and also provide education about your carpet. If applicable, any permanent stains will be identified and you will be given an evaluation of expected results.
Step 2: Pre-Vacuum.
Dry soil is removed from your carpet by thoroughly vacuuming of the carpet using a commercial HEPA filtered vacuum. Removing dry soil is one of the most crucial steps in any cleaning process.
Step 3: Furniture Moving.
Pricing includes moving smaller furniture/items, as needed to allow the technicians access to all carpeted areas. Larger, fragile prone items (Beds, Dressers, etc.) will be left in place.
Step 4: Pre-Conditioner and Spotting.
A pre-conditioner is applied to emulsify and break down and suspend the soil and contaminants in preparation for extraction. Spots and stains will also be treated at this time.
Step 5: Agitation.
A professional carpet groomer is used to further loosen the soil. This agitation is necessary as it allows proper dwell time to penetrate carpet fibers deep down into the carpet pile.
Step 6: Neutralizing Extraction Rinse.
Your carpet is then thoroughly rinsed using a powerful acidic rinse. This will neutralize the pH in your carpet leaving it clean and fresh. Using a solution line, vacuum hose and extraction wand the contaminants from your carpet will be removed from your carpet to a designated waste tank on our truck to be disposed of properly.
Step 7: Post Spot Treatment.
Any remaining spots and stains will undergo unique spot removal techniques. For extended carpet life and fewer stains, be sure to have professional carpet protector applied.
Step 8: Post Groom.
Your carpet will be groomed with a professional groomer so that the pile of your carpet is set in an upright position. Post grooming helps to accelerate dry time.
Step 9: Speed Dry.
High velocity air movers are placed on the carpet immediately after cleaning to promote faster drying.
Step 10: Post-Cleaning Inspection.
Our technician will walk through your home with you to point out the carpet cleaning and upholstery cleaning results and ensure your satisfaction.
